RÈGLEMENT (UE) 2025/1108 DE LA COMMISSION
du 23 mai 2025
modifiant le règlement (CE) no 2368/2002 du Conseil mettant en œuvre le système de certification du processus de Kimberley pour le commerce international des diamants bruts
LA COMMISSION EUROPÉENNE,
vu le traité sur le fonctionnement de l’Union européenne,
vu le règlement (CE) no 2368/2002 du Conseil du 20 décembre 2002 mettant en œuvre le système de certification du processus de Kimberley pour le commerce international des diamants bruts (1), et notamment son article 20,
considérant ce qui suit:
| (1) | L’annexe II du règlement (CE) no 2368/2002 contient la liste des participants au système de certification du processus de Kimberley et de leurs autorités compétentes respectives. |
| (2) | Sur la base des informations fournies par la présidence du système de certification du processus de Kimberley et/ou par les participants, la Commission peut modifier la liste des participants et de leurs autorités compétentes. |
| (3) | Le processus de Kimberley a pris note de la demande d’adhésion de l’Ouzbékistan et, à la suite d’une mission d’experts, a conclu que le pays satisfaisait aux exigences minimales du système de certification. |
| (4) | L’ajout de l’Ouzbékistan à la liste des participants à ce processus a été approuvé lors de la réunion plénière du processus de Kimberley organisée à Dubaï en novembre 2024. |
| (5) | Il convient dès lors de modifier l’annexe II du règlement (CE) no 2368/2002 en conséquence, |
A ADOPTÉ LE PRÉSENT RÈGLEMENT:
Article premier
L’annexe II du règlement (CE) no 2368/2002 est remplacée par le texte figurant à l’annexe du présent règlement.
Article 2
Le présent règlement entre en vigueur le vingtième jour suivant celui de sa publication au Journal officiel de l’Union européenne.
Le présent règlement est obligatoire dans tous ses éléments et directement applicable dans tout État membre.
